Prior to becoming a partner at REMIXED, Douglas Berger had the profound honor of working with clients from around the world, including brands like Bacardi, Universal Music Group, Rolex, Mercedes, Target and countless others.
Doug studied Graphic Design & Illustration at The University of Miami, where he graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Fine Arts—not to mention a short stint at the School of Visual Arts under the tutelage of the famed Milton Glaser. While at UM, he established the Student AIGA chapter for the University and played an instrumental role in bringing the school newspaper online, making it one of the first five Universities with an online newspaper.
Mr. Berger has been decorated with awards including ADDY Awards, Telly Awards, Communicator Awards and the coveted Midas Award, among many others. Moreover, he has been published in a vast array of magazines and books, and has been a guest lecturer at Columbia University, University of Central Florida and Full Sail.
When Doug is out of the office, he prefers to spend his time canoeing, kayaking, enjoying a finely crafted beer or traveling with his wife and kids.
Simon Jacobsohn originally hails from Colorado. He went on to receive his Visual Communications degree from the Art Institute of Houston, graduating with honors. While enrolled, he was a distinguished recipient of American Advertising Federation’s National Student Award.
In the years that followed, Simon worked for a number of design firms and ad agencies. During his tenure with these companies, he was a creative lead working with clients like Disney, Gold’s Gym, Target, Mitsubishi, Compaq, Ralph Lauren, McDonald’s and many more.
Along the way, Mr. Jacobsohn won national and international design awards for his work, and lectured at colleges and universities on the subject of Branding and Graphic Design. His work has been published in design annuals, books and publications around the world.
When Simon isn’t practicing graphic design, he enjoys composing original music. His styles range from ambient electronic to industrial prog-rock. In fact, he has produced music that has been played on radio stations around the United States and in clubs across Europe.
